I spent the weekend in Settle with my family, with us all being together on the eve of Halloween we decided to have a pumpkin carving competition. None of us had really tried it before but figured it would be a bit of fun. I am happy with how mine turned out (middle pumpkin in the photo above) the mouth was tricky to carve with a kitchen knife, some of the gaps in-between teeth were close to giving way. Think I’ll be investing in a smaller, sharper, craft knife for next year to try something a little more complex, cannot wait!
